This January 17th, 2010 will be the 15th annual "Knights Strike Out For The Kitchen" bowl-a-thon!  Our Goal this year is to raise $55,000 and with your sponsorship and our bowlers, we can make this year another huge success. Every penny, nickel, dime, and dollar (yes, 100%) from the Bowl-A-Thon goes directly to The Kitchen, the Knights of Columbus cover the operating costs to host and plan the event.

Food Drive

This year, everyone is asked to bring canned food and/or non-perishable food items to place in our collection barrels at each of the Bowling Centers. Your generous sharing over the past several years has resulted in literally thousands of pounds of food and supplies for The Kitchen. Take a minute, stop and think about what you had for dinner last night. Now realize that there are many less fortunate in our community that would have went with nothing to eat last night had it not been for the out-reach that The Kitchen provides.

History

Over the past 14 Bowl-A-Thons, the Knights of Columbus have raised over $380,000 for The Kitchen, with last year’s total, for the one-day event being $51,000. This year our Goal is to present to The Kitchen a check for $55,000. We know that this is very ambitious, but with every dollar donated by our bowlers, corporate sponsors and friends we come a little closer to meeting that goal.
