SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- (11/03/2017) Currently hundreds of Springfield teens are on the streets without a place to call home or clothes to keep them warm. Due to this growing problem, The Rare Breed is hoping to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty and give the teens a better option.
Of the 90 homeless and at-risk youths who were surveyed earlier this year in Springfield, almost all of them — 93 percent — reported engaging in risky behavior to remain housed.
