SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (May 24, 2017) — A leadership change has been made at The Kitchen, Inc. Former CEO Rorie Orgeron’s last day was May 22, 2017. The Board of Trustees would like to thank Mr. Orgeron for his years of service. A search will be conducted for a Chief Executive Officer at The Kitchen, Inc. The executive committee of The Kitchen’s Board of Trustees and the organization’s directors are overseeing the day-to-day operations. The mission of The Kitchen, Inc. remains the same; to prevent and end homelessness in the communities we serve by providing housing and stabilizing services with dignity and compassion. Harter House Raises $73,000 to Benefit The Kitchen, Inc.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (May 17, 2017)— Harter House stores in Springfield, Hollister, Nixa, Kimberling City and Strafford raised $73,053 to benefit The Kitchen, Inc. during the 20th annual Jerry Bettlach / Jim Trimble Memorial event. The event continues to be the largest fundraiser of the year for The Kitchen. The Kitchen, Inc. provides housing and support services to those in need in Springfield and the surrounding communities.
