SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (June 8, 2017) — This morning, The Kitchen, Inc. celebrated the ground breaking of The O’Reilly Family campus located at the corner of Glenstone and Chestnut Expressway. The O’Reilly Family campus will be home to our shelter that consists of 13 apartments and one apartment for respite care. The Sam and June Hamra Family building will consist of office space for 26 case managers and will house the operational staff, including the executive staff, human resources, accounting and development. (May 17, 2017)— Harter House stores in Springfield, Hollister, Nixa, Kimberling City and Strafford raised $73,053 to benefit The Kitchen, Inc. during the 20th annual Jerry Bettlach / Jim Trimble Memorial event. The Knights of Columbus Council donates $52,000.00 to The Kitchen, Inc.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (April 21, 2017) – For the 22nd year, the local Knights of Columbus councils sponsored the “Knights Striking out for The Kitchen” bowl-a-thon. Over 350 individuals and four bowling alleys participated in the fundraising event reaching this year’s total of more than $52,000.
