Harter House Donates 5% of All Store Sales to Benefit The Kitchen, Inc.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (February 28, 2017) - Harter House stores in Springfield, Hollister, Nixa, Kimberling City, and Strafford are raising money to benefit The Kitchen, Inc. during the 20th annual Jerry Bettlach / Jim Trimble Memorial event. The Kitchen, Inc. provides housing and support services to those in need in Springfield and the surrounding communities. SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (February 16, 2017) – The Kitchen, Inc.’s Commercial Street campus has a new owner. The sale of the property is another step in the development of the much needed new campus located at the corner of Glenstone and Chestnut Expressway. On Wednesday, February 15, The Kitchen, Inc. CEO Rorie Orgeron signed the papers transferring ownership of the seven building campus to Historic Commercial Developments, LLC. The property sold for an undisclosed amount. Springfield Sleepout Helps End Homelessness for Local Youth

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (Oct. 31, 2016) — The 8th annual Springfield Sleepout is Friday, Nov. 4, through Saturday, Nov. 5, and serves as a symbol of the homeless youth experience in conjunction with National Homeless Youth Awareness Month. (October 10, 2016) – Through a generous gift from Sam and June Hamra, The Kitchen, Inc. is excited to announce it has acquired land that will soon house a new emergency shelter and office space.
